June 2020
A County Cllr is looking for entrepreneurs with some vision to develop an unused toilet block in Prudhoe into a business opportunity.
C Cllr Gordon Stewart who represents Prudhoe South said ‘ The toilet block has been unused for many years with modern facilities available elsewhere along front st, developers
in various parts of the world have been successful in converting blocks into popular businesses such as wine or gin bars, such adaptations are welcomed by the public’
The toilet block is located just off front st with ample free parking & a bus route closeby and near to residential areas
The Cllr went onto say ‘ The building is not currently being marketed by NCC but serious suggestions would be considered, we want Prudhoe to be a vibrant area for residents
and visitors with a wide offering to all, yes a bit quirky idea but if it helps put Prudhoe on the map I am more than happy to give it a try’
