You may not like the advice or wish to adhere to it, but if you do not you could put yourselves, your family and the wider community at risk.
Most information is just advice at this time, some people feel this may change to something far more than that. we wait & see.
We are still working as County Cllrs every day but have like most people had to change our working practices.
We used to make visits to homes, Schools, Churches, Medical centres , community events & businesses each work.
As well as surgeries & street surgeries etc
Due to the advice provided we have stopped these, but assure you we are in communication with many of the above via e mail & phone calls.
We know that most community groups as well as council meetings have been postponed.
We are receiving numerous requests from residents on a daily basis and we are dealing with these.
Every individual person, family & business is impacted in some way by this terrible virus.

There are of course many people who are not online or on social media and it is vital that they are supported.
Please remember there are many professional support groups out there as well as volunteer led organisations, if you hear of someone who has slipped through the net, please do not ignore it.
We are already seeing Fake news & abuse being pushed out on social media which is very unhelpful and for many unpleasant even if not directed towards them.
Many people are suffering from stress at the moment as they constantly read or hear about the virus, please think of them when you post.
Yes it is a huge news story but everyday please post something on your social media which is funny or even mundane to lighten the mood of so many people.
As many will realise we post on social media everyday of the year and this will continue.
Local business & community groups can use our facebook page PrudhoeNland to help them provide information, just post as much and often as you like CLICK HERE
Remember Prudhoe is possibly the friendliest town and has a great community spirit.
