A target date for the completion of the work is 22nd May 2020.
Before that a period of consultation and planning will take place, expressions of interest from contractors will also have to be completed.

We are working alongside PTC and Active Northumberland and looking at not just restoring the equipment but also improving the facilities.
We will be consulting with local people on what they would like to see.

Bank holiday Monday & hoping for finer weather so it’s into shorts.
Delighted to announce that we are in advanced discussions with senior officials at @activeNorthumberland
NCC and Prudhoe Waterworld
regarding improving the playground facilities outside Waterworld.
We know they have been neglected for years and we are committed to improve them.
Active Northumberland is not part of NCC but a partner providing leisure facilities throughout the County.
This is the only playground in the whole County that AN have control of.
Playground equipment is hugely expensive but we believe Prudhoe deserves better than it currently has.
It will take time to improve the area but we are onto it.
A new playground was installed in Eastwoods park during 2017 & a very popular park is situated in Highfield park.
There are smaller playground in other parts of the town.
We do not take reports via social media or enter into discussions but see how easy residents can contact Gordon & Ken their County Cllrs.
