We are delighted to announce that following representations by us more investment into roads within Prudhoe will take place funded from a £7.7m grant from HM Government.
A long overdue carriageway resurfacing of the front street in Prudhoe will be carried early in the new year at a cost of £250,000
In addition another £150,000 will be invested into the Dukes way industrial estate.
Such investments will support many #PrudhoeBusiness and the wider #PrudhoeCommunity
Therefore helping to retain / create #TynedaleJobs
Improving the #TynedaleTourism offer.
Helping people to be #ProudOfPrudhoe
There will of course be some disruption but residents and business will see a major improvement in the area.
Other road works around the town will be announced ASAP.
